Truckable app for iPhone and iPad

Truckable is a peer to peer system that allows pickup truck owner/drivers to provide delivery services to customers with an immediate need. Much like Uber re-wrote the rules for livery services, Truckable provides "delivery on demand" services.

Usage is simple, for a customer. Download the app and register. Upon registration you may setup payment using your credit card, or you can defer that until you are ready to submit a pickup request. Payment services are provided via Stripe, which ensures safe, secure and convenient frictionless payment. Once registered and logged in, you submit your pickup and dropoff locations, a description of what you want to move, and/or a photo of the goods. Then you wait for an available driver to accept your inquiry. When a driver accepts the inquiry you can review the driver information and decide whether or not to accept that driver. If you accept than that driver will immediately proceed to your pickup location. If you reject the driver, your inquiry becomes available for any of the other Truckable drivers to accept it. Once the accepted driver arrives they will "begin the delivery". You load your item into the truck and then the driver transports your item to the dropoff location while you follow them or meet them at the dropoff location. Once the item is unloaded from the truck the delivery is complete. The cost is based on the distance and time of the delivery. Your credit card is automatically billed for the delivery amount.

If youre a registered and validated driver, you login to the app. When youre ready make deliveries you "go online". If there are no current inquiries you can wait for the next new inquiry notification. The app will provide you driving directions to the pickup location. When you arrive you "Start the Delivery". The customer will load the goods into your truck. Once loaded you drive to the dropoff location and the customer will unload the truck. When finished you "Complete the Delivery". The app will provide the total cost based on distance and time and bill the customer. Youre portion of the deliver is automatically routed into your pre-configured bank account and you are now made available for other outstanding inquiries.

Note: Truckable requires locations services in foreground and background so customers and drivers can be informed of each others locations during a delivery. Please be aware that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
